Premio Computer Retains Top 10 U.S. Education Market Ranking In First Quarter 2004
May 18, 2004 -- Premio Computer, Inc. has been ranked as a top 10 computer vendor to the U.S. education market by an independent research firm for the fourteenth consecutive quarter. The quarterly statistics research, released May 7, ranked Premio at number 8 for the first quarter of 2004. The rankings are based on shipments of desktop PCs, mobile PCs and servers.
Ranking ahead of both MPC and Sony, Premio shares the education market top 10 with such companies as Dell, Hewlett Packard, Apple Computer, Gateway, IBM, Acer and Toshiba. Premio has now maintained its top 10 vendor ranking for over three years. The education technology market is an important one for the company, which also sells its computer systems to businesses and government agencies throughout North and South America.
