Premier Design Systems Announces Early Customer Win with Oracle® Database 10g

Regional Manufacturer/Distributor Gains Reliability & Scalability with Oracle Database 10g.

Minneapolis, MN June 5, 2004--Premier Design Systems, Inc., a Certified Partner in the Oracle® PartnerNetwork and leading ERP mid-market value-added reseller (VAR), announced today that they have successfully installed Oracle’s latest relational database offering, Oracle Database 10g, running on a Linux platform for a key PDS customer, Molenaar, Inc.

The migration to Oracle Database 10g from Oracle 8i Database running on Solaris was deployed for Molenaar, Inc., headquartered in Willmar, MN. Molenaar is a high-quality promotional products manufacturer/distributor. Molenaar’s CFO, Steve Molenaar, has aggressive plans for new business growth and communications with his dealer network, conditions that continue to play into the strengths of the Oracle technology value proposition of speed, reliability, flexibility and security. Premier Design Systems was able to quickly leverage its DBA expertise within Oracle’s database architecture, in order to deliver a cost-effective Oracle on Linux solution for Molenaar’s business applications expansion needs, just six weeks after Oracle Database 10g became publicly available.
