Poppenberg Named to Sun Microsystems' National Partner Council

Perfect Order's Vice President of Sales is Named to National Council

Mechanicsburg, PA; Pittsburgh, PA April 29, 2004 -- Perfect Order, Inc. is proud to announce that their Vice President of Sales, Oliver Poppenberg, has been named to Sun Microsystems’ National Partner Council. Ollie is one of only a dozen key executives chosen by Sun to represent the interests of all of the Sun partners located in the United States. Company management feels that it is Perfect Order’s excellent reputation with both Sun Microsystems and their partner community that lead to Poppenberg’s appointment to the council.

As a member of the council, Poppenberg will have the opportunity to have foresight into upcoming technology offerings. He will have some influence in the technological direction of Sun Microsystems, therefore assuring that client and Sun partner needs and requirements are being met through innovation.

Poppenberg has served as Perfect Order’s VP of Sales since 1999. During his tenure, he has helped to grow our business from $10 Million per year to nearly $60 Million in 3rd party product and services sales in less than 5 years. Working mostly out of the company’s Pittsburgh office, he has contributed in helping grow Perfect Order’s sales staff from ten to 30 people. In addition to his duties at Perfect Order, Ollie serves on the Pittsburgh Technology Council, the Sewickley Valley Water Authority and the Sewickley Strategic Planning Committee.
