Poker Software Developer Launches Partner Program in UK

Online poker software developer Fireswirl Technologies has launched its first channel partner program for the European market. Their aim is to work with local partners in the UK to explore the online poker solution market in both the UK and Europe.

The channel partner program offers VARs pre-sales support, marketing materials, product seminars, technical support, substantial discount on products and extended credit terms.

Johnson Chandler, executive VP, said the program is an initiative to open up the lucrative European market for their online poker products.

Online poker market has been experiencing staggering growth in recent months. The aggregated wagers placed in online poker rooms have grown from USD$10.6 million a day in January 2003 to USD$64.7 million a day in December 2003. However, a stable and full-feature poker solution that can support a high traffic site is a scarce commodity. Many large-scale online poker operators have to invest millions and lots of attention to build and maintain their own solution in-house.
