Pixbyte’s Announces a New Release of Their Premier DVD Burning software: The DVD Ranger 2.7.8

The 2.7.8 version adds a number of new functions and improvements to the DVD Ranger, including updated heuristics for the newest movies, a brand new ‘Check for updates’ function and much more.

Some of the new functions and features of the DVD Ranger version 2.7.8 are:

1.) New "Check for update" function that sends messages via the Task Message (an information window that pops up at the right hand bottom tray bar). Communication is the key when it comes to easy to use burning software. With that thought in mind, Pixbyte developers created the ‘Check for update’ function, which allows the user to receive messages regarding the new updates via the Task Message window. This way, the user is instantly informed regarding the latest available updates.

2.) Added: ‘Open automatically’ the final file/folder is a brand new function that enables users to have direct access to the final files or folders containing their copies DVDs. With this feature there is no need to browse around your computer and waste time; the function will automatically open the final output of the burning process.

3.) PS3 Single File output directly from the DVD Ranger 2.7.8
There are few DVD copying software packages that can make a single VOB file copy for PS3 playback. PS3 generally works with external USB Drives and our DVD-Ranger can create a MovieOnly copy with a single 4GB file. Copy the file to the USB Hard drive and then plug it into the PS3. It’s stunning how users can enjoy the file from their PS3 XMB (PS3’s Desktop)!

4.) Another new function is the MovieOnly Menu. This unique feature will enable users to add a Menu to a Movie Only copy. How many times have you forgotten the popcorn in the kitchen and you have missed the start of the action? Well, the DVD Ranger’s MovieOnly Menu will add a short predefined Menu to the DVD. When the user puts the DVD in the Player it will run the Menu first. Get whatever refreshments you need then click on "Play"!
