New anti-virus solution protects against viruses, worms and Trojans with rapid updates and OnGuard™ technology

Sydney, Nov 9, 2005 - PC Tools, creator of award-winning spyware removal and real-time protection software, today introduced PC Tools AntiVirus, a new anti-virus software offering for consumers. PC Tools AntiVirus will include frequent live updates that will locate and eliminate the latest harmful computer viruses on a consumer's computer drive.

With one of the largest libraries of malware and threat definitions available, PC Tools AntiVirus eradicates viruses and related threats that attempt to enter computers and logs a record of all scan activity including information about infections that were identified in a scan or by real-time detection.
The product features OnGuard™, advanced real-time background protection that prevents threats from infecting consumers' computers while providing the ability to quarantine and restore items that have been detected.
