OKYZ Releases Raider3D®, the first Universal and Light 3D Collaboration Solution

Raider3D enables fast, easy and secure 3D-based collaboration leading to higher productivity, fewer design errors, and reduced travel costs. Organizations can finally evolve from emailing, faxing and publishing static 2D images to exchanging real 3D models with anyone, anywhere.

Bethesda, Maryland January 15, 2004 -- OKYZ announced today the general availability of the Raider3D® product suite for the automotive, aerospace, manufacturing and oil & gas industries. Raider3D product suite consists of four modules: Capture, Publish, Live and Viewer. Raider3D enables the instantaneous reproduction of a perfect, extremely compressed WYSIWYG copy of a 3D scene from any CAD/CAM, CAE or Geophysics application (Raider3D Capture). Raider3D provides a foundation for simple, universal and truly spontaneous 3D collaboration, enabling users to exchange 3D models by email, embed 3D interactive content in Microsoft Office and Web documents (Raider3D Publish) and to organize real-time 3D conferences between manufacturers and suppliers, independently of their respective software environments and platforms (Raider3D Live). Raider3D Viewer is a free, lightweight, cross-platform 3D viewer.

Raider3D Viewer, available as a free download (stand alone/plug-in), is sufficient to display the captured 3D scene with the exact same visual characteristics as in the original application.
