NuSphere Corporation Announces Release of PhpED IDE v3.3.1 with unique support for PHP5

NuSphere Corporation announces the availability of PhpED v3.3.1. New version of PhpED Integrated Development Environment for PHP provides unique support for PHP5.

Bedford, MA May 8, 2004--NuSphere announces the availability of NuSphere PhpED IDE v3.3.1 for Windows with support for the latest version of PHP5. The package includes now the debugger module for php5-rc2.

NuSphere PhpED IDE is an integrated development environment intended mostly for the creation of PHP-based web-applications, although many other popular languages such as HTML, Perl, Java, CSS, C/C++, and others are supported as well. PhpED is a robust code editor, powerful PHP debugger and profiler – all-in-one. It also includes integrated UltraSQL, MySQL and PostgreSQL database clients and SOAP services tool.

Other changes in PhpED v3.3.1 include:
- Improved IDE performance and stability. Enhancements to PhpED's NuSOAP implementation and the debugger client expedite web development.
- Up-to-date PHP version. The package includes the latest stable version of PHP, v4.3.6.
- New extensibility scope. PhpED can be integrated with 3rd party tools like PHP encoders, formatters or HTML validators. Pre-configured tools already include phpDocumentor, HTMLTidy and CVS client.
- Updated documentation. Xhtml documentation is added to the list of help files that is supplied with PhpED; also, the PHP documentation is renewed.
- New PhpED user manual. The improved, more logical structure and enhanced content of the manual make it much easier to use.
