SharePoint® Document Libraries is a great way to store any kind of documents, and SharePoint Attachments for Outlook makes it easier to utilize those features. With SP Attach the files that are attached to e-mails will be published to a document library on a SharePoint website, and instead of the attachments a link to the exact place on this site will be added to the e-mail. This can be done automatically or after a choice, according the personal settings. All organizations with insufficient use of their intranets can benefit from this simple tool.
The language of SharePoint Attachments for Outlook is automatically set to the same as the language of operative system of the actual PC, and currently Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Slovenian, Swedish and Turkish are supported. SP Attach has an MSI-based installer and is very easy to install. In spite of the simplicity the producer has been careful with the documentation, and online there are video demonstrations, a downloadable manual in Word format and a PowerPoint presentation.
SharePoint Attachments for Outlook may be freely downloaded and evaluated for 15 days.
SharePoint Attachments for Outlook works with Outlook 2000 and above and with any website which supports WebDav (IIS or FrontPage Extensions Web). The Organizational License is 395 USD, including one year of support, while the Single User license is 49 USD.
