Network Utilities (Systems) today announced UK availability of a new version of Proxy remote control software, which makes it easier than ever for help desk and network professionals to remotely support users, desktops, and critical network systems — over any type of network connection and regardless of whether the machine is staffed.

New in Proxy v4.05 is the ability to selectively disable certain graphic-intensive features of the Host PC operating system such as screen savers, desktop wallpaper, and font effects, to control how much data is transmitted over the network and enhance the speed of the connection.
