New IM (Instant Messenger) call recorder catches the whole lot in an action
IM (Instant Messenger) talkers frequently want to record their voice conversations. If you are a Skype user, you are lucky to have somewhat wide choices range from Powergramo to Hotrecorder, etc. But there's almost no tool to record other IMs.
vEmotion, as a new IM call recorder, just went on the beam to fill up this gap. Also enabled with Skype, other supported IMs include Msn Messenger, AOL Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, Google talk, Tencent QQ. One can tune up all these big IMs with single installation of the program. What's a cool idea.

1. It records calls completely automatically. No even a bit manual operation is needed. Also you can start up with it without any preparatory configuration.
2. Other IM recorders, such as Pamela, sometimes mess up with users' sound card, while vEmotion does not. You gain without loss.
3. It's able to save records in multiple audio formats, including MP3, OGG and WAVE. Furthermore, it also packages records into VEA files, which allow users to save some images together with a call record. These images serve well as portraits for your friends at the other end of the call. Or you can interpret them as anything you'd like.
4. vEmotion also provides some entertainments during voice conversations. It set background music for voice conversations and send sound effects, or voice emotion, to your friends when you are talking. This is a very smart idea for those youngsters. It provides a precious chance to share music and fun with your friends. Actually, vEmotion debuted as an entertainment add-on providing music sharing. Afterward, a call recorder was included.
I had tried out the recorder with Google talk. The nicely recorded calls argue it's a good recorder for sure.
Since the beta version was released, the program has been updated several times. Now, the latest version is 2.0.9.12. People do appreciate the vibrant developing team behind the product. It was said that they are still endeavoring to develop new features for coming versions.
The most attractive aspect, I noticed, is that vEmotion is free to use. No expiration limitation was imposed on it, despite some trivial limitations for recorder users. For an average user, these limitations are completely reasonable and acceptable. After all, you can experience all its functionality without paying.
