New Freeware CD/DVD Burning Utility Easily Integrates with Programs and Scripts
Melbourne, Australia - November 28, 2005 - Software development company Cortex I.T. has released a new freeware utility that allows CD/DVDs to be burned from the command-line - making it ideal for integration with scripts, batch-files and programs.

CommandBurner allows users to eject, load, erase, and burn CD/DVDs through simple command-line arguments. For added convenience, users can also perform these same operations through a handy graphical user interface, which comes built into CommandBurner.
CommandBurner was originally developed as a sub-application for BackupAssist, Cortex I.T.'s acclaimed backup software package for small and medium businesses. "We needed a simple, effective CD/DVD burning utility to incorporate into our own software, but we couldn't find a free program that would do the job," says Linus Chang.
