Kiev, Ukraine (April, 2006) - Alexander Yarovy announces the release of sMonitor, a program for the Windows operating system that monitors network activity.
sMonitor is a network monitoring software that allows you to verify the network connectivity of TCP/IP hosts on the Internet and LAN. The program periodically pings TCP and UDP ports on computers or other network devices. If the destination host fails to reply, sMonitor alerts you using either with audible alarms, visible notifications or e-mail messages. sMonitor also has the ability to run as a standard application or as a windows service.
"This program is perfect for any network engineer that needs to keep track of all their servers" says Scott Swedorski, President of Promaxum.
New features in this version include things that make monitoring your network even easier. The ability allows customs scripts to be created and debugged, alerts by audible and visible alarms, launches third-party applications, creates and refreshes an HTML status file or speadsheet and much more.
If you've tried other software that was supposed to monitor your network but just didn't work right, you need to give sMonitor a try.
System requirements
sMonitor will run under Windows 95, 98, ME, and Windows XP. It also supports Windows NT 4.0, and Windows 2000. It requires 128MB of RAM and 20 MB of free hard disk space.
