Mobiletrek.Us Team Gears Up For Another Mobiletrek To Dragoncon 2004
Reno, NV September 5, 2004 -- On September 2, 2004 Pocket Anywhere Managing Editor Amy Zunk hits the road reporting on how a large convention and attendees use mobile technology from GPS devices, cutting-edge software by leading Palm OS and Pocket PC developers to Apples iPod and iPod accessories.
The MobileTrek team will depart from Tampa, FL and drive to Atlanta, GA for the 2004 DragonCon Convention. DragonCon is America's largest, multi-media, popular arts conventionfocusing on science fiction and fantasy, gaming, comics, literature, art, music, and film with over 30,000 attendees last year.
"What does a sci-fi/fantasy convention have to do with mobile technology? asks Zunk. Plenty, she answers, further explaining, I am going to capture my uses of mobile technology both on the drive to and from Atlanta as well as see for myself how conventions as well as attendees use mobile technology.
Throughout the 5 day trip updates will be posted online, http://www.mobiletrek.us, at the MobileTrek.US website, including fun convention tidbits like photos, tourist stuff, and travel tips for gadget fans.
