We would like to give you some GP technology orientation:
1. Current Version. Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0 (as of September 2007). Upgrade path is possible from prior versions: 4.0, 5.0, 5.5, 6.0, 7.0, 7.5, 8.0 and 9.0 to 10.0. If you on version 7.5 and earlier on Ctree or Pervasive SQL/Btrieve – you need migration to MS SQL Server
2. DB Platform: Microsoft SQL Server 2005. Microsoft SQL Server upgrade is relatively straightforward process. SQL 6.5, 7.0 or 2000 could be upgraded to 2005, for earlier versions in this list two steps might be needed
3. Customization. We do full spectrum of customization technologies: Microsoft Dexterity, VBA Modifier, eConnect, Integration Manager, eCommerce Visual Studio C# or VB programming for GP, SQL scripting. Customization upgrade should be planned step, sometimes code should be analyzed and modified to fit new version, this is true about Dex customizations, you should also provide us with DYNAMICS.DIC with your Dexterity source code
4. Reporting. We design reports for GP in Crystal Reports, SQL Server Reporting Services (SRS) and in Dexterity. You can also modify existing GP reports, such as SOP Long Invoice form in ReportWriter, which is intuitive process. Dexterity and Report Writer reports require upgrade service.
