The new version adds more new features such as aspect ratio customization, XVID (MPEG-4) discs burning and the enhanced burning engine, designed for more efficient handling of video collections and slideshows.
Based on our user's feedback we made some corrections for more powerful and efficient work with DVD movies. Now due to the supported customizable aspect ratio feature you can select, adjust or just learn the aspect ratio of your video. As a result, the update provides you with more flexibility in controlling your video processing. Choose 16:9 (widescreen format) or 4:3 (fullscreen format) aspect ratio according to your liking and enjoy every minute of movie watching.
Focusing on maximum convenience in use AVS Video Editor 3.2 provides a separate routine for direct burning XVID (MPEG-4) discs burning.
The update also features the redesigned burning manager that considerably enhances and simplifies the burning process. Now DVD/VCD/SVCD and XVID (MPEG-4) formats are separated from each other to avoid confusion when selecting an appropriate format.
To ensure a more robust software performance a number of general software improvements have been made. Now you have more opportunities for experiments when creating your original video applying various video and audio effects.

AVS Video Editor 3.2 runs under Windows 2000/XP/2003 for a single-user license and costs $49.95(US). Discounts for volume buyers are also available. Registered users of AVS Video Editor are entitled to free minor updates and lifetime technical support and can obtain the software update - AVS Video Editor 3.2. free of charge.
A fully functional demo version is available as a free download from the company's website: http://www.avsmedia.com, the only limitation of the trial version is a watermark logo that is put on output files.
