MacNET Media Announces 2004 Product Of The Year Awards

Today MacNET Media announced the winners of its 2004 Product of the year Awards in a Flash presentation available on MacNETv2. http://www.macnet2.com/awards2004.php

Bow, NH August 4, 2004 –- “There have been some awesome products released in the last year for the Mac user, and we believe we’ve chosen the best of the best.” Says Lisa Swanson, managing editor of MacNETv2, a Mac oriented online publication dedicated to Mac reviews and opinion. “We tried very hard to keep the list to ten, but ultimately we had no choice but to award a total of eleven. It was tough, but we did it,” says Ms. Swanson.

MacNET Media’s Products of the Year Awards are given out to the companies that have made the best contribution to the Mac community, but are not limited to strictly Macintosh computer products. “Several of our winners this year created and shipped products that have nothing to do with the Mac itself” reports Ms. Swanson, “but they certainly made a Mac user’s life more enjoyable.”

This year the winners have ranged from companies that create training products to ones that produced cutting edge technologies, such as high capacity compact flash cards. “We’ve worked very closely with all the winners in the past year” Ms Swanson says, “so we have a real good insight into what they are all about, and what they bring to the community. Each company deserved to win, each product was simply outstanding.”

MacNET Media developed an online and downloadable Flash presentation that shows off each product, offers a link to the products web site, and informs the viewers why each product was picked.
