MIS Utilities is pleased to announce a new version 2.11 of Network Asset Tracker, a popular utility for network inventory. Network Asset Tracker generates a network inventory without installing software on the users' PCs. It enables you to scan all the nodes of your network with just one click. Get fast and complete information about operating systems, service packs, hotfixes, hardware, software and running processes on remote PCs. Create reports about hardware, software, and running processes on all computers on your local network.
Network Asset Tracker is intended mainly for corporate networks where quick analysis of software and hardware information of a remote machine may help system administrators quickly solve any potential problem. The application is flexible in its configuration and easy to install and use which makes analyzing a remote computer's operating status a snap. The overall productivity of a network administrator increases, frustration decreases, and time and money are saved.
Network Asset Tracker 2.11 offers many useful features to make network inventory easier and more powerful. You can add custom fields in the computer's list. You can enter fields with the phone number of a user or even the color of a PC's case, etc.
Version 2.11 allows you to see a description of the computer's network properties. You can also include this information in reports.
Report creation has also been improved. You can now choose fields which you use frequently and save them as presets.
License control is easier. In the "Installed software" report, you can see the name of the software, the number of installations and an enumeration of computers where the software is installed.
