LockLizard makes a new contribution to protecting personal data
At a time when UK government departments are managing to lose the personal data of more than 300,000 individuals a month (year to April 08) and financial institutions seem to be no better, a new approach is needed to stop the data loss haemorrhage.
Many organizations have to enable their employees to transport sensitive information on laptop computers, whilst guarding against potential leakage in the event that the laptop is lost or stolen. Some are compelled by their own rules, to make personal data accessible to comply with their constitutions.
