LitBid, a Must-See for Lit Support RFPs
LitBid, releases its web-based Request For Proposal (RFP) software to law firms and corporate legal departments for use in quickly locating and simultaneously submitting bid requests to multiple litigation support providers. Designed to mirror traditional purchasing processes that include researching and locating qualified providers, issuing requests for proposals, and receiving and evaluating bids, LitBid has launched its free web-based RFP service specializing in litigation support services.
Mount Laurel, NJ November 3, 2003 - Submitting multiple requests for proposals (RFPs) has never been easier. Designed to mirror traditional purchasing processes that include researching and locating qualified providers, issuing requests for proposals, and receiving and evaluating bids, LitBid has launched its free web-based RFP service specializing in litigation support services.
LitBid was started by litigation support professionals with over 20-years of combined experience. Sean Sturrock, one of LitBids founders and Managing Partner, states, Other websites have tried automating the purchasing process for litigation support services, but they neglected to give the purchasers control over key steps in the process. LitBid on the other hand, allows purchasers control over selecting the providers from whom they want proposals, comparing bids, and ultimately selecting a provider.
LitBid allows purchasers to eliminate time-consuming phone calls and research. Also, tasks that once took hours or days are accomplished with a few clicks of a mouse. According to Mr. Sturrock, One of the biggest benefits is the way LitBid enables purchasers to save all of their RFP and bid information, so there is no searching for old RFPs when it is time for the next project. Purchasers can select a previous RFP as the template for any of their new requests, making future RFPs a breeze. Once the proposals are received, LitBid allows the purchaser to compare bids, and then determine which vendor is right for the job.
