LinuxQuestions.org Adds a Linux User Groups (LUG) Forum
Buffalo, NY April 28, 2004 -- LinuxQuestions.org (http://www.linuxquestions.org) is proud to announce the addition of a Linux User Group (LUG) forum (http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/forumdisplay.php?forumid=51). The LUG forum will allow members of Linux User Groups around the world to post announcements, attract more members, coordinate meetings and communicate with other LUGs. It also provides a resource for people who are interested in joining a local LUG, making it easier to find one in their area. Additionally, a calendar (http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/calendar.php) allowing LUGs to post Linux-related events is available. The forum and calendar are available free of charge to the Linux community. It is estimated that there are over 1,000 LUGs in over 100 countries world-wide.
"The LUG is a fantastic part of the Linux culture and a great way to share your Linux experience with people in your area. The LUG forum is a resource that LinuxQuestions.org is proud to offer to the Linux community" said Jeremy Garcia, founder and admin of LinuxQuestions.org.
LinuxQuestions.org is a free, friendly and active Linux Community with over 100,000 members.
