Symagery today announced that a leading industrial equipment supplier has ordered 10,000 units of its VCA1281 image sensor device to incorporate into one of its automotive service equipment offerings. This order represents the beginning of a potential multi-year supply arrangement.

OTTAWA July 17, 2004 -- Symagery today announced that a leading industrial equipment supplier has ordered 10,000 units of its VCA1281 image sensor device to incorporate into one of its automotive service equipment offerings. This order represents the beginning of a potential multi-year supply arrangement.

Symagery’s image reader systems offer the industry’s highest resolution and largest field of view for maximum efficiency and productivity. They are broadly used in a variety of industries.

The VCA1281 sensor offers a proprietary, high-performance, 1.3 megapixel CMOS image sensor with high sensitivity for crisp, clear pictures. Frames rates as high as 30 frames per second provide full video and extremely low cross talk for detailed image capture.
