New Version - 8.1 -- Written in .NET; Provides Enhanced Speed, Reliability, Security and Intuitiveness

TAMPA, Fla. November 20, 2009 - Layton Technology, Inc., a developer of innovative PC audit and help desk software, today announced that a new version of its AuditWizard PC audit software is available for immediate shipment.

Version 8.1 is a major upgrade of AuditWizard, which has been protecting user companies against software compliance audits since Feb 2000. Now with a worldwide customer base that exceeds 10,000, AuditWizard contributes directly to the bottom line by reducing the amount of money wasted on maintenance contracts for software that is no longer in use.

Reporting can now be performed through the user interface. And the new Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), allows discovery and auditing of all network devices such as routers, printers, switches and hubs.
