Latest Release of Advanced File Worker extends Windows Explorer Functionality
Russian utility software vendor Computer-Expert Group has released an update to its popular Advanced File Worker software. Advanced File Worker 2.30 adds a unique feature to Windows Explorer, providing users with the ability to execute scripts from the Explorer context menu.
Designed to add extended functionality and advanced features to a Windows system, either replacing or enhancing Windows Explorer, Advanced File Worker 2.30 is a powerful file management and backup utility. Combining features from several utilities into one clean and fast package, Advanced File Worker 2.30 allows users to perform all the standard file manipulation tasks (moving, copying, renaming, deleting) but adds include and exclude masks to permit powerful filename matching; graphics files can be handled as easily as any other file including managing by image size. Advanced File Worker 2.30 can backup some or all directories and files at predefined scheduled times, or whenever the application is launched. Advanced File Worker 2.30 adds a temporary file clean-up tool, as well. The hidden strength of Advanced File Worker 2.30 is its scripting ability, allowing users to define scripts to perform any function or series of functions with a single mouse click.
Scripting features have been extended with this latest release of Advanced File Worker 2.30, adding full integration into Windows Explorer. A user can use the Advanced File Worker context menu extension added to Windows Explorer, allowing any script to be launched from that menu. Scripting can simplify complex and routine tasks enormously. An unlimited number of scripts can be handled by Advanced File Worker 2.30.
The Advanced File Worker 2.30 application can be used three ways: from the Advanced File Worker window, from within Windows Explorer, or from the command line. This provides many ways to handle scripting and file manipulations tasks, rivaling operating systems like UNIX for advanced users. Advanced File Worker 2.30 works with FAT, FAT32, and NTFS file systems and a comprehensive Help system is included.
Previous releases of Advanced File Worker 2.30 have received praise and accolades. The last release was awarded a coveted five-star rating by TopShareware.com. Computer-Expert Group offers several other highly-rated software packages too, including the Supervisors Pack, a combination of three utilities for system maintenance, performance tuning, and privacy protection.
