Kentico CMS 4.0 Combines Content Management and Social Networking

Nashua, New Hampshire, USA, February 10, 2009 – Kentico Software (http://www.kentico.com), a Web content management system vendor, announced the release of a new 4.0 version of Kentico CMS for ASP.NET. The new version combines full-featured Web content management with a powerful social networking platform.

Most of the new features in version 4.0 are focused on social networking and on-line communities. The new version of Kentico CMS targets companies that want to leverage Web 2.0 technologies by engaging their customers through blogs, forums, polls, wikis and focus groups. The new Kentico CMS Social Networking Edition supports blogs, forums, polls, user-contributed content (wiki), groups, friends, message boards, media libraries, content rating and improved membership management. It also supports content taxonomy based on tags and categories.
