K7 TotalSecurity ranked among the top three in the world for product performance

Chennai, September 21 , 2010. K7 TotalSecurity, a leading Internet Security Suite comprising Antivirus, Anti-spam, Firewall, Privacy and host of other security features, has been ranked among the top three in the world by AVTEST.ORG, an independent and leading security products testing organisation. AVTEST.ORG conducted tests on leading products available in the market, for a Japanese magazine, to determine their effectiveness in detecting malware and other online security threats internet users are exposed to. K7 TotalSecurity had scored 98.60% in these tests resulting in being ranked among the top.

In the beginning of 2008, K7 TotalSecurity had a modest score in a test conducted by AVTEST.ORG. From then on a team of highly seasoned professionals had started working on improving the product. Subsequently, in 2009 it scored 90% and now in 2010 it has reached 98.60%
