Jcx.Software announces integrated Php/Html editor for Visual Studio .Net
Miami FL July 21, 2005 Jcx.Software today announced the immediate availability of VS.Php version 1.3. This release extends the Php editor for Visual Studio .Net by supporting inline html editing. The editor provides intellisense support for Html 4.0 tags as well as html attributes and events.
VS.Php 1.3 also improves intellisense support with two new features, auto suggest and intellisense filtering. Auto-suggest feature provides suggestions while typing code. Intellisense filtering lets the user narrow the content of the intellisense combo box based on what has been typed so far. This helps the developer finding the entry of interest quicker. As the user types, the list will narrow down. If the user deletes characters, the list grows back to match the remaining selected text.
Jcx.Software founder, J. Rivera explains: In this release we focused on improving the productivity of the developer. We introduced a group of key features to make development faster and more enjoyable. The auto-suggest feature speeds up development by reducing the number of keystrokes the user has to type. Html intellisense for Php files helps users build scripts that generate complex html pages. All tags, attributes and events have useful tool tips to help the developer. VS.Php is a powerful tool for serious Php developers.
This release also lets users deploy individual files at any time. This is useful while debugging in which the developer make changes to Php scripts. With 1.3, the developer can simply select the file changed and deploy it to the server without stopping the debug session. This speeds up the development process for the developer.
