Ipcas GmbH is proud to announce the released of its very own .NET Tracing & Profiling tool, SpeedTrace Pro. This powerful tool can be used to optimize your system performance by identifying data flaw and bottlenecks. SpeedTrace Pro is a complete runtime analysis tool set with real-time performance for developers of applications or libraries (DLLs) in .NET Framework 2.0 managed code (Windows applications, ASP.NET, Windows .NET Services, developed for example with Visual Studio®).

SpeedTrace Pro's tracer consists of an application tracer and a data tracer for .NET. Application tracing allows you to follow your applications flow in a production environment whereas, data tracing allows you to additionally examine data flow to and from a function.

In this version, SpeedTrace Pro has come up with new distinguished features in order to provide a better tracing & profiling of the applications. Its new features include an improved fast engine which increase the trace buffer size, data reduction concept by using the include and exclude filtering, data tracing and not forgetting the Callback- API. With its data tracing capability, SpeedTrace Pro makes function arguments and return values accessible. As for the Callback-API, developers are allowed to implement their own C++, C#, VB.NET code and others while examining an application with SpeedTrace Pro. This is possible without any changes to the source code of the application being examined, the Tracee. High-performance and outstanding features like .NET Data Tracing set SpeedTrace Pro apart from the remaining .NET tracers and .NET profilers.

SpeedTrace Pro identifies performance bottlenecks, deadlocks, software design problems, and also detects resource and data flaws.
