IBASE Rolls Out a PICMG 1.3 SHB Express Full Size CPU Card
TAIPEI, TAIWAN, August 23, 2005 - IBASE Technology, a leader in embedded computing, rolls out a PICMG 1.3 SHB express full size CPU card. Designed for scalable performance for today's demanding embedded computing applications, the IB868 PICMG 1.3 CPU card from IBASE features the mobile Intel 915GM Express chipset with an integrated 32-bit graphics engine, supporting both CRT and LVDS LCD displays. Accommodating up to 2GB of DDR2 533MHz system memory with improved bandwidth and power savings over DDR memory, the low-power SBC is validated with the Intel® Pentium® M and Intel® Celeron® M processors on 90nm process.
The PCI Express bus on the IB868 provides increased I/O bandwidth to support the latest industry peripherals. Additionally, the CPU card comes with two high-speed Serial ATA, six USB 2.0 interface, two COM ports, watchdog timer and digital I/O. The optional IP380 backplane comes with three PCI-E(x1), one PCI-E(x16) and four PCI slots.
Combined with an Intel ultra low power processor, the IB868 is the best solution for fanless embedded systems requiring high performance yet low power consumption.
