How to issue your press release (See actual PR on next page)

Note: Send out your own Press Release only after you sign-up at www.mystorecredit.com/customermaps .

1) Update the press release on the next page with your own information. Replace the bracketed information with your own information (your name, company name, town, etc). You may edit the quote or any other information in the press release as you see fit, but keep it short and newsworthy.

2) Choose the press outlets to send your press release (newspapers, radio stations) and mail, email or fax your press release to the news editor.
a. To get your local newspaper information go to www.newspapers.com. Search for your local paper by city and state and connect to their web site. Most newspapers will have a fax or email number where news releases should be sent. We suggest you confirm the editor's or producer's name.
b. To get your local radio station information go to: www.radio-locator.com. Again, search by your zip-code and state. Click the link to the radio stations you want to target. Most will have a news-room or fax number for you to send your Press Release.

3) Send only the one-page press release and your cover note. (Do not send these instructions!). Let us know what coverage you get!
