Gunshine is a free 2D browser based Sci-Fi MMORPG similar in many ways to that of Shadowrun on the Super Nintendo. It is not necessary to purchase any software to play as it runs directly in your current browser, no plugins necessary.

It is preferable to play in groups when playing in the Gunshine Universe, especially when taking on the many Bosses in game, it can also be played solo and has a PVP system for fighting other human controlled players.

When logging into Gunshine for the first time, you will be prompted to create a Character, a Gender and to choose out of the three Character Classes available, Bodyguard (tank), Doctor (healer) and Hunter (damage). You can change the characteristics of your player's hair, skin color etc.

There is a huge variety of items available for your character in Gunshine and all class specific (small, medium and large). As your character develops so will your special attack skills and the quality of the items you use.

Gunshine can be played in groups of a maximum of four players fighting together. Gunshine has integrated itself into Facebook like no other previous MMORPG. You can invite your friends from Facebook to do battle with you side by side in the Gunshine universe and even hire them when they are offline to get yourself out of a jam.

According to the developers at Gunshine, quests are plentiful and will keep you occupied for months and years to come. Ultimately there is a big war for control over Dawnbreak City, the Gunshine Universe. This is split into 10 different factions. You will need to make a decision as to what faction you will join and fight for control over Dawnbreak City.

What is Gunshine today could be completely different tomorrow and as the data for the actual game is based on a server and not on your local computer, there are infinite possibilities for change and growth.
