GritTec announced new version of speech enhancement technology on the base of GritTec's Dual Microphone Array solution (Version 2.00)

The two-channel technology of noise suppression on the base of GritTec's Dual microphone array solution (Version 2.00) is intended for suppression of external hindrances and surrounding noise in chosen direction of source of the speech and a sound. In new version of GritTec's DMAS (Version 2.00) GritTec developers managed to improve suppression technology of external hindrances and noise in sidelobe of the directivity diagrams of microphone array. Suppression process of background noise and external hindrances in sidelobe became regulated at the expense of using an adaptive filtration methods and application of double talk detection methods. Setting the basic source direction of the sound, like a human brain, the system adapts at sidelobe directions and further suppresses them from the basic source direction of the sound.
At the same time having borrowed from the new version of GritTec's Noise Cancellation (Version 2.00) technology of suppression internal distortions and musical noise, GritTec has received the output signal from the microphone array more clear.
Testing of new version GritTec's DMAS (Version 2.00) has shown good results of speech enhance quality in comparison with the results of previous version.

At present time for developers it is available C++ float-point code and the package of SDK libraries with 32-bit and 64-bit objective code (DLL). Porting code for some DSP platforms will be available in the near future.
