E-mail hosting provider Greatmail LLC announced today that it has increased the storage limits for its POP3 e-mail plans to 250 megabytes and 1 gigabyte.
Houston, TX July 29, 2004 -- E-mail hosting provider Greatmail LLC announced today that it has increased the storage limits for its POP3 e-mail plans to 250 megabytes and 1 gigabyte. For $39.95 per year, users may register a Greatmail POP3 email account that includes 1 gigabyte of storage. A second plan includes 250 megabytes of storage and costs $24.95 per year. All Greatmail POP3 e-mail plans are advertising free and include server level virus protection. Product features include spam control, custom mail filtering, e-mail forwarding, remote mail, auto reply and POP3 client compatibility.
Greatmail offers five standard e-mail and web hosting plans that include up to 5 gigabytes of storage and 500 mailboxes per account. Web hosting features include support for mySQL, PHP, mod_perl, SSL and FTP. Email features include support for POP3 and IMAP4 protocols, SMTP authentication, mail forwarding, auto responders, aliases, mailing lists, virus protection and spam control. For ISPs and resellers, Greatmail develops custom solutions including private label dedicated servers and load balanced server clusters.
Greatmail's servers are located at a dedicated climate-controlled facility equipped with complete power protection via on-site UPS and diesel generators, pre-action fire suppression and direct connections to the major internet backbones. 24-hour network supervision by qualified technicians and automated system monitoring ensure quick problem resolution. Greatmail's servers run the latest versions of Linux OS and are backed up daily by a server independent, non-centralized mirrored disk backup system.
