Toronto, ON – GAO RFID Inc.(http://www.gaorfid.com) presents its newly released RFID WiFi Reader. This 2.45GHz Gain Adjustable Active RFID WiFi Reader is designed for high value asset tracking, suitable in any environment, and especially useful for warehouse management.
A RFID asset tracking system cannot be complete without the right reader. The GAO 2.45GHz Gain Adjustable RFID WiFi Reader adopts the advanced 0.18um CMOS IC for ultra-low power consumption and applies 802.11b wireless communication standard. Since it is designed to operate in the unlicensed 2.45GHz band, the GAO 2.45GHz Gain Adjustable RFID WiFi Reader can be deployed in any environment. It’s built in Omni-directional antenna can identify transponder tagged items up to 100 meters in all directions. Users can adjust the identification distance from less than 5 meters to 100 meters according to actual situations in order to make identification more accurate.

This durable device can be used in environments with temperature ranging from -40C ~ 80C, which greatly broadens its range of uses. In addition to high speed asset tracking, this device can also be used for locating individuals, logistics and closed loop tracking.
