Free Web Design for Nonprofits Nationwide
Michigan IT Solutions, a Michigan-based web development firm, will provide web design services to the first 300 nonprofits nation-wide to register free of charge, through the Helping Me IT partnership. The company will select nonprofits based on their operating budgets and total employee count.
Southfield, MI August 9, 2004 -- Michigan IT Solutions, a Michigan-based web development firm, will provide free web design services to the first 300 nonprofits nation-wide to register, through the Helping Me IT partnership. The company will select nonprofits based on their operating budgets and total employee count.
Each nonprofit web site selected will receive a custom designed web site, unlimited number of pages, free domain name registration, unlimited email accounts, webmail, and an integrated content management system so each page can be easily updated and maintained by the nonprofit. Each nonprofit must pay $40.00 monthly hosting charges.
We believe the Helping Me IT partnership will assist nonprofits in marketing their services in Michigan, said Nicklaus Sims, Michigan IT Solutions President. Our goal is not only to provide a great web presence, but to create an environment where technology is used effectively by nonprofits
Several nonprofits in Michigan have already benefited from this program. Some of them include: Strand Theatre, Southfield Goodfellows, Sarcoidosis Awareness Foundation, The MINDS Program, Community Development Advocate of Detroit, and S.C.A.T. - Scholastically Cultivating Acheivement for Teans.
