San Diego, CA February 26, 2004 -- Gravity Storm Software announced the release of a free version of it flagship product, Service Pack Manager 2000, version 6.9.7.0 (SPM2000). This automated enterprise-wide security utility enables administrators to analyze and fix security vulnerabilities and stability problems in Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 and additional Microsoft products, such as SQL, IIS, ISA, Exchange, IE, and others. The software is agentless and operates on remote machines from a central console. Although the free version is limited to a number of machines that can be managed, it is a full-featured version of the product and greatly contributed to small businesses and shops.

WORM PROTECTION
Gravity Storm Software customers were protected from high-profile viruses including the recent SQL Slammer worm, Code Red, Nimda and Blaster worms. Use of Service Pack Manager 2000 provided its customers with up to date protection utilizing available security patches. The recently published ASN.1 vulnerability also can be patched by the product.

CUSTOMERS
The SPM2000 customer base has experienced tremendous growth with about 1,000,000 systems under management.
