Existing e-tailers and new business startups will know of the nightmare associated with finding new and profitable product leads. September 16, 2004 -- Wholesalers and suppliers have traditionally expanded their customer base through word of mouth between existing business owners, which has been effective in offline markets. Now with the advent of the internet wholesalers are slowly starting to appear online, expanding their services globally.

Although this is good news for e-tailers and new business startups, finding these wholesalers is harder than first thought. Most sites employ little in the way of search engine optimization (SEO), leaving them way down in search engine results. So Wholesalerhub has designed a service to fill this gap, bringing e-tailers and wholesalers together.

Wholesalerhub was formed early in 2004 by two frustrated independent e-tailers who were disappointed in the quantity and quality of existing sites being listed in search engines. Their aim was to produce a no nonsense directory listing supplier and wholesaler sources who supply to both trade and non trade.

Since its launch the site has proved to be a great success both in the United Kingdom and the USA, providing leads to many new businesses and existing e-tailers. Plans are underway to provide wholesale listings for consumers in the European mainland and Asia, which according to the Wholesalerhub team, should be completed early in 2005.
