Excalibur Cutlery Experiences Huge Sales Boost Using e-Commerce Accelerator

Sales increase for five consecutive months; average order value increases over 250%

Jersey City, NJ, December 04, 2008 - Comodo's eCommerce Accelerator Kit has helped Excalibur Cutlery reach new peaks in online sales. The eCommerce Accelerator Kit features an EV SSL Certificate along with Comodo's HackerProof™ service and UserTrust™ feedback platform. Excalibur Cutlery, a premier cutlery retailer since 1978, launched its website ExcaliburCutlery.com nearly two years ago. Excalibur turned to Comodo in April 2008. Improved Sales for Excalibur Cutlery

Excalibur Cutlery saw immediate improvement in its online sales during April, resulting in an 11% increase in sales right from the start. In May, ExcaliburCutlery.com saw its average order value increase over 250%, from $34 to $120 per sale. In addition, to an increase in sales, Excalibur also converted a higher percentage of visitors into customers and experienced a jump in the average time each visitor spent on the website. In the months following April, Excalibur's sales have consistently increased. In July, their sales increased by 77%, nearly triple their previous highest rate of increase. Sales have continued to increase in August to a tune of 56%.

"Business is good here at Excalibur," said Goodman, who also notes that Excalibur is already planning on upgrading its servers to support its rapid increase in business. Excalibur has put its trust in Comodo, and will continue to work with Comodo in the future.
