Evil Genius Games Saves Ancient Egypt with Rise of the Nile
BOULDER, CO August 12, 2004 -- Evil Genius Games is proud to announce the release of Rise of the Nile, a downloadable video game for Windows, Mac and Linux.
We wanted to follow up Rhiannon's Realm, a Celtic mahjong solitaire game, with another new twist on a classic video game, said Evil Genius President Quinn Buchanan. Our game, which challenges the player to bring life-giving Nile water to the deserts of Ancient Egypt, is completed and available at www.hypernovagames.com.

Immerse yourself in the wonder and mystery of ancient Egypt as the Queen charges you with the daunting task of saving the Empire from certain destruction. The desert threatens to engulf the land, and it's up to you to hold back the advancing sands by digging irrigation ditches to carry the life-giving waters of the Nile, and make the desert bloom. Ankhs and Eyes of Horus score you a bonus, but watch out for marauding scorpions! With over 50 levels, Rise of the Nile is a challenging and addictive update to a classic game genre.
