EnKoo Expands Board of Directors with Appointent of Industry Veteran Surya Panditi
Industry Veteran Surya Panditi joins enKoo board of directors to drive availability of secure remote access products to the SMB market.
FREMONT, CA September 7, 2004 - enKoo, simplifying secure remote access solutions for small to medium size businesses, announced today the appointment of industry veteran Surya Panditi to the board of directors. Panditi brings more than 20 years of experience leading networking and infrastructure companies from start-up to global success.
enKoo has dramatically improved the performance to cost of delivering secure remote access solutions and optimized their design to meet the needs of the rapidly growing small to medium size business market, said Surya Panditi. The company has all the ingredients for successseasoned leadership team, innovative technology and growing portfolio of customers and partners.
Currently the president and CEO of Polaris, a leader in optical transport switching systems, and the chairman of Avici Systems (NASDAQ: AVCI) Panditi brings more than two decades of leadership experience working with companies from inception to Wall Street.
Previously Panditi served as president and CEO for Avici Systems, a leading provider of purpose built carrier class routing solutions for the Internet, from 1997-2001 successfully leading the company through its IPO. During his tenure, the company grew exponentially from start-up to global leader within the scalable router market. Prior to that, Panditi was vice president and general manager of the LAN business unit at US Robotics. Earlier in his career he worked for Intel Corporation, Ungermann-Bass and Telco Systems. Panditi also served as board member of Internet Photonics recently acquired by Ciena Corporation for $150 million.
