Fremont, California June 3rd, 2003 -- Agilis Software today announced the Time-Limited License Package version of their popular EasyLicenser software license manager. This new Package allows ISVs to issue an unlimited number of time-limited evaluation licenses for their Java, C/C++ or Visual Basic products for a single annual fee of just $500. With unconstrained, worry-free distribution of their evaluation software, developers can maximize their potential revenues.
Many software vendors offer their products for trial over the Web or via CDROM, and they need to be sure users cant abuse the evaluation license, said Dominic Haigh, VP of Agilis. The EasyLicenser Time-Limited License Package allows cash-strapped developers to distribute a 30-day evaluation version of their software, without losing revenue to users who take advantage of the trial copy to avoid paying for a full license.
The EasyLicenser Time-Limited License Package is especially suited to startup software companies with a broad user market, where many users want to evaluate the software concurrently, but not all evaluations will turn into orders.
All the standard EasyLicenser security features are included in this new version, including straightforward integration with the ISVs products, protection against users turning back their system clock in an attempt to fool a time-limited license, anti-spoofing protection, and sales opportunity management.
EasyLicenser is a native Java license manager that also protects C/C++ programs on Windows, Linux, HP-UX, Solaris and AIX, or VB programs on Windows.
