ESI Software Wins Sallie Mae® Contract

Sallie Mae chooses ESI Software to handle their Sybase DirectConnect needs.

Colorado Springs, CO July 8, 2004 -- Sallie Mae has requested ESI Software to upgrade their LAN based Sybase middleware software to levels that will support their planned upgrade of their Windows operating systems.

Sallie Mae also requires the mainframe based Sybase middleware be upgraded to support both the newer levels of the LAN based middleware and higher levels of the z/OS operating system and the CICS transaction monitor software on the mainframe.
