Chart ModelKit 3.0 is a pure .Net 2.0 component that allows the creation of interactive and intelligent charts and graphs. The true WYZIWIG designer doesn’t require deep knowledge in programming: just click the element in the chart area and set its properties in the property grid. In this new version, this process is improved. Now properties are available not only in the property grid but also from the designer toolbar. Automatic layout of localized interface elements allows the correct displaying and positioning of these elements in the property grid and on the toolbar.

Advanced data binding model allows the creation of smart charts by binding them to any .Net data sources including ADO.NET, IList, IListSource objects. It is possible to use hierarchical data sources. Every element of the upper level can be represented as a separate series built by the nested elements. The expression language can be used for data binding. Thus, your application will provide a complete picture of opportunities, threats, trends, and other business information that decision-makers need to see.

Charts architecture is presented by separate elements which can be combined selectively. Such object architecture allows the creation of non-standard charts and graphs which meet even the most outstanding requirements of a target user. It is also possible to use a rich library of standard elements: axes, labels, legends, titles etc. and a set of series types: Pie, Bar, Stacked Bar, Stacked100Bar, Spline, Line, Bubble, Area, Stacked Area, Stacked100Area, Stock, and Candle Stick. GDI+ advantages: gradient fills, anti-aliasing, alpha blending, backgrounds etc. and a wide range of palettes allow the developers to create attractive, visual and professionally looking charts.
