Estimate Easy UC is designed to capture use case data, which is known very early in the requirements phase, before the detailed requirements are discovered. Estimate Easy UC is the first tool to offer the customization of all use case point estimation factors which is then converted to man-power estimates. Recent studies have indicated that use case points produce reliable estimates, which are close to the actual development effort.

Estimate Easy UC allows manual input of actors, use cases, technical and environmental factors to be used for estimation calculation. It also allows users to import UML data, from other sources such as Rational Rose, XMI 1.1 and Microsoft Visio. Use case data can also be imported from Rational RequisitePro.
