DataArt Invites CIOs to Share Knowledge with Russian Software Outsourcing Companies
On February 4, 2004, in St. Petersburg, Russia, American CIOs will talk about their experience with representatives of Russian companies. Invited by DataArt, Stuart Robbins, the executive director of CIO Collective and a key technology thought leader in Americas premier CIO community, is a featured keynote speaker for this event. Stuart will provide an executive overview and analysis of the changing CIO role, best practices, and emerging opportunities in the current global marketplace.
January 20 2004--The IT sector is currently seeing a trend to use Russian offshore software development companies. Increasingly, more and more American companies prefer to work with Russian rather than Indian developers, attracted by their professionalism, versatility, speed and development reliability. The results of partnership with Russian software support producers convince companies that they made the right choice of vendor.
Non-awareness of the different specifics of teamwork in American corporate culture is a problem for Russian companies moving into the U.S. market. Aware of the potential and limitations of Russian companies, Stuart Robbins is coming to Russia so that they can benefit from his experience.
For completeness and objectivity, Valentin Makarov, President of the Fort-Ross IT Services Consortium, will also speak at the Forum. His talk will be titled Russian Technology Service Providers and Their Relationship with Government, Science and Academia.
