DILAD Rear Projection Screens for Home and Business

DILAD Rear Projection Screens for Home and Business

Telematics Canada is now offering the full line of DILAD Rear Projection Screens to provide a cost-effective solution to fans of home theatre systems and businesses switching over to digital signage.

Vancouver, Canada July 8, 2004 –- "Even the most seasoned professionals are blown away when they first see an image projected onto a DILAD Screen. After years of sorting through display technologies for a product that delivers on the promise of a brilliant image for an affordable price, DILAD is about to completely win over the in-store digital signage industry plus give home theater fans a very interesting alternative to their front projection screens," says Michael Wolf, founder of Telematics Canada.

Telematics Canada has just launched the new www.dilad.ca website to showcase the DILAD line including the new DILAD Screen, the Portable, and the Stand.

"This lineup is exactly what our clients have been asking for. With the new DILAD Screen, we can produce unlimited custom sizes in NTSC, HDTV and Letterbox aspect ratios right up to 100 inches," says Wolf. "Choosing from three levels of opacity is a no-cost option."

The DILAD Type T40S is a transparent, polyester-film and the surface of the screen has a scratch-resistant hard coating with anti-static properties. The Type T90S is a translucent, polyester-based film with superior light-scattering abilities that renders bright images. The adhesive layer imparts light scattering and UV blocking features.

The DILAD Type GS has gray, light-scattering layers on both sides. This screen type allows wide-viewing angles and high contrast images. The gray layers diffuse the projector light.

"All DILAD Screens have a low-tack adhesive for mounting to window glass or polycarbonate. A local window-tint specialist can be called on to handle the installation," says Wolf.

The DILAD Portable is ideally positioned to build a loyal following in corporate boardrooms. At 40" and 60", this compact rear-projection design is set up in less than a minute and replaces a cramped presentation on a laptop with a high-impact performance that can be seen by everyone in the room. The super bright screen means that windows stay open and lights stay on.

"For today's road warrior, meetings with your clients are too important for the unexpected," says Wolf. "Relying on the availability of a clean white board can be a mistake. Using one for your presentation can be a disaster. The DILAD Portable is a natural companion to your projector."

Retail stores looking to replace their cardboard posters with a system that is sure to get the customer’s attention will find their solution in a DILAD Stand. Combining 60" of eye-level screen surface with a sturdy frame that is easily moved from one spot to another, this unique product will soon become the centerpiece of window and showroom displays.

"With a DILAD Stand matched to a consumer-level digital projector, a shop can display their supplier's promotional video by plugging into a VCR or DVD player. With a bit more effort and a digital camera, they can put together an automated slide show featuring just their latest specials or every product in the store," says Wolf. "There’s really no limit other than imagination."
