DBSync for Firebird and MySQL v. 1.0.0 release!

We are glad to announce DBSync for Firebird and MySQL v. 1.0.0 release!

DBSync for Firebird and MySQL is a powerful synchronization tool designed for bi-directional conversion between Firebird/InterBase and MySQL databases and for accurate synchronization in both directions, unlike other similar tools, which commonly perform only one-way conversion.

DBSync for Firebird and MySQL performs Unicode support as well as a large number of useful features such as interactive (GUI) mode / command line mode, preverification of possible conversion errors, task planner scheduling, insert, update and drop synchronization, data filtering, data mapping, etc. The program is extremely easy to use, it was implemented like a common wizard-like application, so even an inexperienced user will be able to work with it. A number of other features included:

- InterBase version 6 and CodeGear InterBase 2009 support;
- Firebird version 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 and 2.1 support;
- Foreign keys (relations) support;
- Automatic synchronization process with built-in scheduler;
- Sessions support;
- Unicode and Binary data types support added.

DBSync for Firebird and MySQL allows to copy the whole database as well as to such particular tables, fields, indexes and foreign keys. This product performs insert, update and drop synchronization:
Insert-synchronization (only new records are added from a source to a destination), Update-synchronization (the altered records will be replaced in destination database) and Drop-synchronization (deleted source records will also be removed in destination) are also available.

Unlike other similar tools, which commonly perform only one-way conversion and synchronization, DBSync for Firebird and MySQL provides two-way conversion and synchronization,' said Dmitry Narizhnykh, the chief executive officer.
