CyberMatrix Timesheets Version 4 Released

CyberMatrix Corporation has released version 4 of CyberMatrix Timesheets, an easy to use Windows-based timesheet entry application. Timesheets version 4 contains several important improvements. The most significant change in version 4 is the complete rewrite of the Timesheets Web edition. Timesheets Web now includes its own web server eliminating the need to configure and maintain an unwieldy web server like Microsoft's IIS. Timesheets Web now also makes use of AJAX technologies to provide a richer user interface. The database engine and reporting engine have also been updated. A Timesheets CE edition is now available that supports PocketPC and Windows Mobile devices.

Timesheets has five different editions to accommodate the needs of various customer types. Timesheets comes in Standard, Client/Server, Enterprise, Web and CE editions. The Standard, Client/Server and Enterprise editions have a simple intuitive graphical interface. While the Standard edition can be used with multiple users over a network, the Client/Server and Enterprise editions are better suited for large numbers of users. Only the Enterprise edition can be scaled up to handle massive user loads. Timesheets Enterprise integrates with virtually any large database server, including Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL and PostgresQL. The Client/Server, Enterprise and Web editions can be used with multiple users accessing employee time data over the company intranet or even the Internet. Timesheets Web allows employee time data to be accessed from any web browser on virtually any operating system, not just Windows. Timesheets for Pocket PC runs on hand-held computers running Windows CE or Windows Mobile.

Timesheets runs on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003 server and Vista. System requirements: 256 MB RAM and 20 MB hard disk space. For Timesheets Client/Server we recommend a dedicated NT4, W2K, XP, 2003 or Vista server with 500 MB RAM and power backup to host the Timesheets server application. Timesheets Enterprise requires a database server such as Microsoft SQL server, MySQL or PostgreSQL. Timesheets Web runs best on a dedicated Windows NT, 2000, XP or 2003. The client machines require only a web browser. Timesheets CE requires a PocketPC device running Windows CE or Windows Mobile.

Timesheets Standard, Web and Web Enterprise costs $55 (US) for a single-user license, Timesheets C/S and Enterprise costs $75 (US) for a single license. Timesheets CE cost $20 for a single license. Multi-user and site licenses are available. Time-limited trial editions can be obtained free of charge from cybermatrix.com.

MyPendrive
