What is ASTC?

ASTC is an ActiveX control which provide the most System Tray Functions at
developing time. ASTC offer something for every programmer,showing you software icon in system
tray is an easy task but can became a nightmare especially when you try to use the advanced features
like tooltip balloon ,animating the icon and using the subclassing ,that's why ASTC is an
Advanced System Tray Control.

ASTC contains all the function you can imagine about system tray programming so you can focus in your
software idea in which you intend to write as well as you will be able to avoid using the Native win32 API calls
to handle system tray programming. With ASTC you can easily show or hide your Application icon whenever
you want ,you will be able to animate the icon whenever you want , you will be able to handle all the events
that may happen to the icon like right button up or left button up etc...,ASTC also can handle a very nice feature
which is the tooltip balloon given your application a professional looking.

Some ASTC Features Described in Detail

The Tooltip balloon feature enable the developer to show a balloon in which its arrow pointing to
the icon in the system tray,with this feature you can return a the application state to the user or
notify the user with a new event had occurred given your application a professional looking also the
developer can display this balloon tooltip even display in win9x.

The Animateing Feature enable the developer to animate his icon in the system tray area ,first the developer
must insert the animation icons in a ImageList control version 6.0 then assign pass the ImageList control to
StartAnimation method,no need to worry about Animateing system tray icon at all because ASTC will handle this,
when the developer want to stop the animation , simply he or she call StopAnimateing method.

Another feature of ASTC that save the developer time is that tracking the popup menu in which the developer
had assign to an event related to the icon like right button up,what do you mean about this?
in the normal cases using API function when you assign a pop up menu for the right button up,the pop up menu
doesn't disappear unless the user click an item in it, ASTC solve this problem without using mouse global hook by tracking
the popup menu and close it whenever the user left click outside the menu.
