Compact, Low-Power 400 MHz (Fanless) or 1 GHz (with Fan) Embedded CPU

WIN Enterprises' new motherboard features a fan-less VIA Eden 400 MHz CPU (1GHz with fan also available) and up to 512 MB SDRAM. The board also supports an IDE hard disk and offers onboard VGA / LCD / LAN capabilities and a CompactFlash Socket.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA February 17, 2044--WIN Enterprises, Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of embedded systems for OEMs, has introduced a new addition to its line of customizable off-the-shelf motherboards: WINIP-06039.

Ideal for telecommunications, kiosk controllers, network monitoring, gaming, and consumer premise applications, WINIP-06039 features a fan-less VIA Eden 400 MHz CPU (1GHz with fan also available) and up to 512 MB SDRAM. The board also supports an IDE hard disk and offers onboard VGA / LCD / LAN capabilities and a CompactFlash Socket.

With its scalability, low power consumption, and small form factor; WINIP-06039 is perfect for compact embedded appliances, barebones systems, and rack-mounted products alike. Its PC/104 connector allows easy stacking for space conservation, and a 32-bit PCI connector is also available.

CRT, 36-bit TFT LCD, and LVDS displays are supported by the board, as is 10/100 Ethernet. WINIP-06039 also features four USB ports, one Parallel port, three RS-232 ports, and one RS-232/422/485 port. Eight digital I/O enables extreme versatility, and its Watchdog Timer ensures long-term reliability. The board also offers full Red Hat Linux driver support. AC-97 Audio is optional.

WINIP-06039 is fully customizable, with options for depopulation and other modifications to suit a wide range of applications.
